Inspector Sunday Mefo, a police officer attached to the Aba Area Command, Abia State, has died after he accidentally shot himself on the leg. The incident happened on Sunday July 27th around 10pm after the late cop had signed an AK 47 rifle for night duty.

Reports was that he was trying to check the condition of the gun and mistakenly pulled the trigger, which fired a gunshot into his leg. He died on Monday morning from excessive bleeding despite receiving medical attention... May His Soul Rest in Peace... Amen!
